CAMP

Inner City Outdoor Youth Program
TREES

In 2006, The Milwaukee Federation's Camp TREES offers its fifth summer of Christian camp experience to disadvantaged urban children at the Pine Ridge Campground, Waldo, WI. Pine Ridge is operated by the Lutheran Boy and Girl Pioneer trains of Greater Milwaukee.

Two weeks of camp are available, July 17-21, and July 24-28,  for children ages 9-12, free of charge through their local congregations.  Bible study, canoeing, archery, swimming, hiking and a variety of other camp experiences fill five days and four nights with unforgettable memories for campers and volunteer staff alike.
The streams of tears on Friday evenings testify to that.

While both camps are fully staffed, we could use a 15' aluminum canoe and paddles.  We need campers or tents for some staff because all bunks are filled by children.  We need your prayers. and, of course, always welcome donations which allow God to touch over 260 lives during these two weeks.  Donations are matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans chapters in Greater Milwaukee. Contact Rev. John C. Ibisch, (414) 453-8976, FAX (414) 476-3891 or email:  ihinetwork@myexcel.com  for donation information.
